WHY PETER MICHAEL KAI?

Peter, Michael and Kai are mythological but legendary advertising figures. As they say in the movies, “These are fictional characters and any resemblance to real people or events is purely coincidental.” However, together they embody the operating principles that inspired the company.

Peter (aka “Pete”) was a North American account management guy who believed in integrity of relationships. He told clients exactly what he thought and never sold something he didn’t personally believe was right for the client’s business.

Michael was a European creative director who believed in the integrity ideas. He lived for the best idea no matter where it came from and delighted junior staff by calling on them for their thoughts and involving them in the big meetings. As such he inspired teams to stretch their minds and hearts to work together to come up with the Big Idea.

Kai was an Asian photographer who fell into advertising simply because he not only produced great pictures but also came up with great ideas. He broke all the rule of advertising agency ceative politics by not only coming up with the ideas, but by cost effectively executing them himself rather than hiring them out to some expensive name photographer.

In short, Peter, Michael, Kai represents a fusion of international experiences that is unified by their underlying belief in integrity in relationship, ideas and execution.
